I have been contacted by phone recording saying I am approved for a loan up to 1500 dollars. First of all I have never heard of this company and I have not given anyone my social security number or personal information so I wanted to check the phone number they called me from and I found this site with all the people that have been scammed. So sorry to hear of your loss. Just remember a legitimate business dealing with money will never randomly approve you for a loan when you have never contacted them.
So I was desperate for money, applied to a bunch of places and they was one of the few that sent a text saying I was approved, along with a phone call. Heavy Indian accent. They said I had to do a verification process in order to receive my funds. The process was that, they deposited say 600 bucks in my account one evening. The next day I sent it (morning time). Long story short the check bounced and now I'm in the hole a little over 600 bucks. I called them back with no hopes of getting my money back, 'cause I realized I was a sucker who was scammed and probably not a whole lot to do about it. They tried to tell me they'd make it right by doing the process again, and saying once I did it, I'd have 6000 bucks deposited in my account. ** scammers. Don't be a fool like I was. Sometimes waiting and thinking about better options is better than being vulnerable and accepting w.e. comes.
To my suprise I got a call from an Annette ( the company name is now Cash advance now) They are aware of this scam. She verified I had no loan on file and confirmed that it was a scam!! She gave me her # of 888-663-6030 which I called back to verify was a good # which it was. She said if he calls back demand in writing, say to contact your attorney, etc. Do not give any info, ask them to verify what they have on file...more than likely they have last 4 of ssn, and bank acct #. I made the mistake of not asking so I can only guess that they have mine....be careful!!
As you can clearly notice, these criteria do not include high credit scores or any requirements for a security deposit, mortgaging your property or car. The reasons for such minimal requirements start with the legislative conditions for fast loans, where you are not required to have any collateral, or meet any other conditions not listed above. Such schemes allow people with limited financial means to obtain loans fast.
Had pulled out a few online loans that I was in the process of paying down and I received a phone call similar to those listed. A man with an Indian accent left me a message I could not understand but a few words, one of which being lawyer. Stated the same previously stated, that they had tried to pull money via an electronic check and that instead of trying to fight for the money, they closed the account and filed it as a loss. They were in turn deciding to file a lawsuit against me and an affidavit has been filed against me and I had to appear in court. The affidavit had been filed in my local state and I should have been contacted by the sheriff last week. I had not been and had gotten no other notices about this. In my pure panic I didn't ask all the questions I should have the first time around. I got on the phone and started calling courthouses here in Colorado Springs to try and find out when the court date was. Come to find there were no court dates. Was taking the court date seriously because I had missed a court date here for a traffic case and they arrested me and I spent the say in jail. Not a fun day. So, I decided to call the number back and the guy was very unprofessional which raised my suspicions. I started to ask the questions I should have asked the first time around. I asked what company it was, his reply being "Cash Advance USA". I looked back through my papers and that was not the company I had gone through. So then I asked, ok, do you have a case number and a court date? He said, yes, you are to appear in court today at 5:00 pm. I said, wow, ok, where at. He replied San Francisco court. I was like, ok, how does this make sense, you said that the case has been filed in my local state, and I've received no communications about this prior to today and you're telling me you don't have a case number and that I have to appear in San Francisco today. Really? He made some smug remarks and then it got quiet.... and he hung up on me. Thank God for this site and coming across these reports cause I was freaking out. They didn't tell me any information that was personal, account numbers, social or anything like that, but I am still all the same very concerned. The number they called on was 1-213-261-5794. They didn't tell me any amounts that I owed and he did also give me the same, do not interrupt me, you can ask questions after I am done. Anyway, hopefully others don't fall prey to these guys.
I received the same type of call this morning then coming here and reading this I feel much much better, They scare the bageebers out of me! But anyway I have the guys number that called me it is 954-745-9017 His name is austin and he is Indian or Pakistani couldn't really tell. But, he sounded so official and he had all my info. SS# Work# Where I live. He even had a case number for me. WOW! Just Wow! So, I was thinking we should all start calling them relentlessly morning noon and night.
“While admittedly another high APR loan option, if in a financial pinch, the fees and terms might be better than those offered by a payday loan,” explains McDermott. The key is to pay off the advance right away, before you begin racking up interest on the balance. If you allow the balance to linger month over month, your short-term loan could spiral into a long-term debt problem.
Spending less than you earn is key to staying afloat financially, yet many of us rely on credit cards to fund our lifestyles. With more than $16,000 in credit card debt per household in America, many of us struggle to understand what we can and cannot afford. Successful savers are very clear on that point and often live a frugal lifestyle despite having an income that can afford some luxuries. Warren Buffett, for example, still resides in the home he purchased for just $31,500 nearly 60 years ago, despite being one of the wealthiest people on the planet. Take it from Buffett: Maintaining a frugal lifestyle while your income continues to grow will help you reach your financial goals sooner.

If you don’t make a payment on time we will attempt to contact you via one or more authorized methods. Because we report your payment history to one or more credit bureaus, late or non-payment of your debt may negatively impact your credit rating. Be sure you fully understand the terms and conditions of your credit before signing your agreement.
I have had many tribal loans from many different tribal lenders. Many of them are little more than professional loan sharks. Spotloan gives you a clear payment schedule with a clear payoff date upfront. They don't want you to wallow in a permanent mire of never-ending interest. They want to help you with a short-term solution, not a long-term trap. Absolutely one of the BEST lenders I have ever worked with, including mainstream lenders! Highly recommended!
Some reasons you might take a cash advance loan include the need to make emergency repairs to a car or home, cover unplanned medical expenses or pay for assistance with short-term needs that can't wait. Parents might seek cash advances to help cover back-to-school expenses when paychecks don't quite meet needs. Ultimately, though, once a cash advance is funded, the cash is yours to spend or save as you please. LendUp works to provide cash advance loan services that are simple to understand.
I am working on my college assignment, when I take a break and check my cell phone. I received not one but three calls from PCS ( a collection agency) and they left one message urging me to contact a Thomas Williams about an overdue payday advance. I returned his call many times to try to explain that I never received a payday advance loan of any sort. He first claimed it was done in May of 2010 and again in August of 2011. He had my social security number, my name and cell number, and my girlfriend's name.
