Residents of the State of Washington are informed that Washington State law provides in RCW 31.45.105(1)(d) and (3) that a “small loan” (sometimes referred to as a “payday loan”) made by an unlicensed entity to a person physically located in Washington State is uncollectible and unenforceable in Washington State. A “small loan” is defined in RCW 31.45.073 and is a loan that does not exceed $700. Collection activities involving loans of $700 or less are subject to RCW 31.45.082, which limits the time, place, and manner in which a payday loan may be collected. Payday lenders must also provide borrowers with an installment plan if the borrower is not able to pay the small loan back when it is due.
While a cash advance lender may only charge $15 for every $100 you borrow, that’s only for two weeks. If you don’t pay back the loan as well as interest and fees, you roll over the loan and then you’re responsible for paying the interest again. An interest rate of 15 percent for a two-week loan becomes an interest rate of 30 percent when you roll it over for a month. And if you extend the loan for a year and do the math, you end up with an annual percentage rate of almost 400 percent!

They contacted me today. Said his name was Michael Ray @ 717-612+4596(which is not a working #) the number they called from 717-724-0000 has been disconnected. He stated I was being sued for no payment on the loan that was deposited in my acct in Sept for $400. While on the phone I got online to check my acct. no funds ever. I had checked into some, but never followed thru. When I told him that he said in his accent that he would have to call me back. I said I would stay on the line. He said he was going to lunch and that he would call me later. I then said I wanted to speak to his manager. He stated he did not have one, I said so you answer to know one?? he got rude and said he would call me back. I asked for the phone number and proof in writing for this supposed loan. He said since it was done online, it was not needed. I then asked for Cash Advances phone # he said I would have to go on their website and get it.

I am working on my college assignment, when I take a break and check my cell phone. I received not one but three calls from PCS ( a collection agency) and they left one message urging me to contact a Thomas Williams about an overdue payday advance. I returned his call many times to try to explain that I never received a payday advance loan of any sort. He first claimed it was done in May of 2010 and again in August of 2011. He had my social security number, my name and cell number, and my girlfriend's name.

I just got an email claiming that I had to get in touch with this company because of a $300 cash advance, and now owe $885.59. They claim to be taking legal action. I never heard of them and I have no idea who these people are. There is also no phone number on the email. I'm positive this is a scam and I think they are probably another out of the country scamming outfit.
I received an email from someone saying I owe $300 but it has been moved up to $885 and they will be taking me to court and freezing my accounts, garnishing my wages. So I ask them to send the account number and when this was done no response. I have even ask for their phone number. All they keep saying is this is the final notice and how am I willing to settle. OKAY so I can't have your number. First of all why are we WRITING back and forth through emails.

A Lady named Karen, from Utica, NY, in the North, said we owed a PAYDAY Loan Co. and we don't and haven't for a long, long time.  Watch out for her.  She has all kind of threats.  Call US Cash Advance-916-458-5665 and they will tell you, you don't owe them a dime and they have been dealing with scammers for over a year.  Buy a whistle if they have your number, which they don't.  We had it changed.  Don't let her and anyone else from these d**n places scare you.

This place is a scam. Went to go and get a loan and I asked for the supervisor and it was the same guy. Don't ever fall for foreigners at all. What a joke. I am calling the police down in GA and TX and contacting the Attorney General. They tried taking money out of an account that is my mother's and said it was an error but when I confronted them they called me names and I didn't know what was going on. So I closed all the accounts. Joke is on them.

It has become clear from numerous reports of this scam, that the scammers have come into posession of a large amount of personal information, including names, addresses, phone numbers, references, bank acct. numbers and social security numbers. Most of those reporting the scam indicate that at some time in the past, they filled out an online loan application. My guess is that these scammers have obtained (most likely illegally) a large database of this personal info.

A woman named Amy ** emailed and sent me a text that I was approved for $4000. Now I didn't need that much, but I called. Amy had a thick accent like from India. After straining to understand her she said it would be $250 per month. Not too bad I told her. But the catch... She wanted me to send them money first then they would deposit my money. What? She called it "insurance". I told her no and not to ever contact me again. Be aware of this company.
