I have had many tribal loans from many different tribal lenders. Many of them are little more than professional loan sharks. Spotloan gives you a clear payment schedule with a clear payoff date upfront. They don't want you to wallow in a permanent mire of never-ending interest. They want to help you with a short-term solution, not a long-term trap. Absolutely one of the BEST lenders I have ever worked with, including mainstream lenders! Highly recommended!
LendUp doesn't limit how your cash advance is used. Once you are approved for a cash advance loan amount and you receive those funds, the money is yours. LendUp does encourage responsible use of financial resources, which is why we offer financial education and the LendUp Ladder in eligible states. We want you to succeed financially, so our goal is to help eligible individuals build credit over time. Because of that commitment, we hope that individuals who take cash advances from LendUp use them responsibly.
I kept getting text messages, no legit phone calls, just texts. Now today they're threatening to take me to court, tell my employer etc for a $300 loan. Told them they can tell whoever, garnish my wages (I'm retired) etc., This was in an email they sent today 9/13/17. Now my loan is close to $1K due to interest etc. I just laughed. I don't take LOANS out for $300. I either write a check or use credit card. They want me to settle today for the $300. I'll never settle. Told them I'll have my lawyers ready also. I dont know who Cash Advance USA is anyway, let alone loan from them. Then I googled all this - it's a SCAM!! Must be bunch of out of work "lawyers" that are trying to scam people & scare them. I told them to bring it on, I'm ready! Ridiculous - get a real job!

When you receive a raise, it's tempting to spend more money on things and experiences that make you happy. However, the "hedonic treadmill" theory suggests that even though an income boost can make us feel like we've earned an uptick in spending, our newfound windfall will eventually leave us as unsatisfied as we were prior to the raise because our needs don't disappear – they just get grander. Savvy savers know to avoid lifestyle inflation during periods of income growth and invest in themselves instead. This can mean upping retirement contributions or diverting the difference into a savings account, emergency fund or toward some other financial goal.
But just being on the safe side I did all my research to indeed prove I had never made this transaction, by getting my bank statements to have so that if for whatever reason Iam takin to court I have proof that there was never any deposit of this $300.00. No need to panick on my end other than the fact that some stranger has alot of my personal information. So now Iam going to take all the correct steps into protecting this and letting the proper people know whats happened.
In another case, the consumer reported that the caller threatened to seize the consumer’s bank account and serve the consumer with legal papers at his workplace unless he paid the debt. Another consumer reported being threatened with arrest. In one case, a consumer reported the debt collector threatened that he could have an arrest warrant issued if the consumer did not immediately pay him with a credit card. In other cases, consumers report the debt collector demanded payment using a pre-paid card.
Paying bills on time is crucial to financial management, but what about paying yourself as part of that commitment? People who consider their future selves just as important as their monthly mortgage are more effective at building savings accounts. To build up your savings on a consistent basis, start "paying yourself first" by setting aside a certain amount each pay period for your savings account. Treat this account just like you would a recurring bill and, if possible, make it automatic. You can also download a tool like Digit, which reviews your spending and finds unused funds to transfer into an FDIC-insured savings account.
I just got an email claiming that I had to get in touch with this company because of a $300 cash advance, and now owe $885.59. They claim to be taking legal action. I never heard of them and I have no idea who these people are. There is also no phone number on the email. I'm positive this is a scam and I think they are probably another out of the country scamming outfit.
In Ohio, SCIL, Inc. dba Speedy Cash, is a registered Ohio Credit Services Organization (CS.900174.000) operating pursuant to the Ohio Credit Services Organization Act. The actual lender is an unaffiliated third party. The Ohio laws against discrimination require that all creditors make credit equally available to all credit worthy customers, and that credit reporting agencies maintain separate credit histories on each individual upon request. The Ohio civil rights commission administers compliance with this law.
The application and approval process is fast and simple. The application usually takes just a few minutes, and the only requirements are usually that the applicant be of legal age and have a job. If funds are to be direct deposited, there must a bank account for it to go to, and having an account from which the lender can draft payment could make for better terms. Once application is made, approval can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours, but rarely more than 48 hours. After approval, money can be in had in just a few hours. Sometimes it takes up to 48 hours, depending on the lender’s specific processes, but again rarely longer.

There are so many misconceptions about payday cash advances. There really is nothing to be afraid of. They are fast, simple, and they get the job done. The most important thing to realize is that you will have to pay back the loan sooner rather than later, and you will have to do it either in a lump sum, or in some cases in just a few installments. This means you must find a way to cover the loan and still cover regular expenses. Their very nature makes them a temporary solution, but a solution when no other may be available none the less. As long as you remember the ABCs of a cash advance, this can be a very power financial tool.
I was just contact by "Attorney Damon Marshall" He originally left a voice mail on my cell advising that I have criminal charges that were filed against me and the Police would be arriving to my home within the hour to arrest me. I called him immediately, He advised that I took out a payday loan. I inquired about the amount. He told me that he does not work for the collection agency and he does not know how much. I said well how much does it say I owe. He said after all taxes fees and surcharges i owed $700+ I told him that he had to be kidding. I have NEVER taken out a payday loan before in my life. This man had so much of my information that it was a very scary situation. He told me that he would place me on hold to see if the court would settle. As I am on hold with him I begin to Google the phone number as well as "Cash Advance USA" up pops SCAM... I was reading aloud and I dont think he was on the other line but he heard me and became very defensive. Mr. Marshall called me soooo many derogatory name and I could not believe it. Then he hung up in my face. Everyone please beware that this is a complete scam!!!!
I am trying to find out if this is connected to cashloanusa299@gmail.com --- Jack Smith in Chicago -- they say they have all my info and can send 5k in 45 mins if I give a state to state transfer of 75 -- this is the first text: "Hi, Congratulation This is to inform you that your application for online loan has been fully approved by our company and there is no any upfront charges to get this loan amount. So if you are still looking for a loan so call us back on our number which is 773-796-9005. Thank you." ---- is this the same guy?
I was offer a loan in a text message and since my credit is bad. I call the number, I notice the heavy accent. But I continue talking. They knew so much about me (phone number, social security, bank routing and checking account). I continue talking. I wanted $2000 he said "No you can have $9000." I decline but he said my funds would be deposited a few hours later after they confirm my account. I immediately took the money out of my account. He calls me 1 hour later and demands my online banking user name!!! I told him I don't have one. So he demands my bank card number!!! I said "No way I would not give you that ever." So I wanted to see how far he would go and he say: "How can you be so stupid not to agree with us so you can get $5000 in your account?" So after that I say "Forget it" and I hanged up.

Consumers should never make payments over the phone or via email to a third party debt collector that refuses to provide a written validation notice. Even if the party seems to have some of your personal or financial information, you should not make payments or provide bank account or credit card information without receiving a written validation notice. If the scammers already have your bank account information, social security number, or other nonpublic information, you may be a victim of identity theft. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has information for victims of identity theft available online at www.ftc.gov.

If approved, the next step requires you to deal personally with a lender, rather than USACashAdvance.com. The lender will be responsible for setting terms and fees. You should carefully review the lender’s loan offer before accepting the terms. If you choose to accept the terms, you can sign the e-signature form and continue along the simple path to receiving your cash advance loan. Sometimes, you may find that you don’t agree with the loan offer presented by the lender. If this is the case, you can decline the loan offer. You are under no obligation.
There are people of Middle East accent posing as Cash Advance USA PayDay Loan stating you've been approved for $5000 to $8000 loan! They recite all of your info you input online for the loan, ask for the amount you want to borrow and then let you know what your payment will be for 24 or 36 most! Then tell you that there's a fee for sending the loan to you which is between $75.00 and $95.00 and you have to purchase a home sort of card and call them with a no. By then I felt it wasn't right so I didn't allow it to get that far, I've even forgotten what type of card they wanted me to purchase! They use multiple phone numbers which are probably spoofed, because they don't register to a name or business! This is the email address they use. Cash.Advance.America7usa.com... PLEASE BEWARE. THIS IS A SCAM!!! I didn't lose any money fortunately!

Our online service is entirely free and works to find potential lenders in our network. Simply fill out and submit our secure online form. Both men had Middle Eastern accents. The second guy kept saying "While on this federally recorded line are you willing to settle this situation"? I kept laughing at him saying that to attempt to scare me. I said I don't know what you're talking about and I know that this is a scam so I won't be paying anything, will be calling the Consumer Protection Bureau, and please take my number off of your call list at which time I was hung up on.
Customer Notice: Payday Loans are typically for two-to four-week terms (up to six months in IL). Some borrowers, however, use Payday Loans for several months, which can be expensive. Payday Loans (also referred to as Payday Advances, Cash Advances, Deferred Deposit Transactions/Loans) and high-interest loans should be used for short-term financial needs only and not as a long-term financial solution. Customers with credit difficulties should seek credit counseling before entering into any loan transaction. See State Center for specific information and requirements.
